Computer vision scientist

Pixelz Inc is the world leader in e-commerce image photography post-processing. We are constantly growing and innovating to provide our customers with best in class service. Part of this success is thanks to the cutting edge R&D team. There are really two sides to R&D: one is making algorithms with outstanding performance, the other is making these algorithms work efficiently in production. Thus the R&D team is now looking for a scientist to make cutting edge algorithms.

The role has a single objective: (create new algorithms or improve existing ones to) automate our operations and enable new products offerings.
If you are a scientist with a curious and entrepreneurial mindset, someone who is here to beat the competition, not in Vietnam but in the world, someone who is focused on the objective and on helping the company, then please, apply!

In return you will have a chance to create an actual product facing end users, enjoy absolutely crazy challenges such as reaching a precision of 99.8% or having pixel level quality on 40MPx images or developing crazy algorithms without AI! Because, yes, computer vision is not just about AI.

You will work with a friendly team, state of the art algorithms and beast servers. Pixelz also has a generous vacation policy, friendly work culture and atmosphere and we have a yearly summit to exchange knowledge, experience and plan for the next year.

And because we are creative at heart, you don't have to apply with a resume if you don't want to. Just send me a one page letter explaining how you are confident that you could solve such a problem. We are open to all experience profiles as the years don't matter as much as what you do with them. So just make it impressive, provide examples of your personal achievements. And, maybe, join our talented team!

Data Scientist- AI Startup (US East Coast)

AI-powered systems are increasingly being used to replace or augment human decision-making across a broad range of industries. These systems already impact many aspects of our lives and will continue to grow in their influence over the next two decades. Therefore, ensuring the reliability, safety, security, fairness, and understandability of these systems is critical. To date, tools to ensure that AI-powered systems meet these standards have lagged behind the tools used to develop them.
